ABOUT ME


My name is Michael and I am a Realtime Supervisor who specialises in creating characters for games. I currently work at Aaxis Animation in Glasgow. I recently worked at Goodgame Stuidos in Hamburg, Germany. I help lead the art team and working directly with art directors, artist and development team organising the pipeline and production of game assets and devleoping the game and features, my role also consited of helping as a technical artist, making other aspects of the game work and coptimised. As well as working with production managers to schedule and keep releases in line with game update releases. Previously I worked at Lockwood Publishing LTD , working as Lead Character Artist, developing, characters and clothing assetts, for Playstation Home and the Avaking Platform (iOS, Android), devleoping new features and optimising current features and assets. Managing internal art team and external outsourcers producing content for a bi weekly release basis.

In summer 2012 I had just finished working on a new IP for the Zool franchise with Steel Minions, where I worked as the Lead Character Artist. 

I have experience creating characters and 3D Assetts from concept through pipeline to implementation, including Game Engine experience. I am always looking to learn new software and skills and techniques to further myself. I am also currently learning the CryENGINE in my spare time.
